Improving the Quality of Social Studies Learning Trough Cooperative Script Models with Powerpoint Media in Class V Islamic Elementary School Al-Jannah Gabuswetan Indramayu

Through social studies subjects, students are directed to
be able to become democratic, responsible and
responsible citizens of Indonesia, as well as peaceful
citizens of the world. This study aims to solve these
problems, researchers discuss with class teachers and
then determine alternative actions to improve the quality
of social studies learning in grade V Islamic elementary
school Al-Jannah Gabuswetan Indramayu. Researchers
will conduct Classroom Action Research (CAR) with
collaborators through the application of the cooperative
script model assisted by powerpoint media. The design of
this study uses classroom action research consisting of
three cycles, each cycle of 1 meeting includes planning,
implementation, observation, and reflection. Data
collection techniques using test and nontest techniques
(observation, interviews, documentation). Data were
analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis
techniques. The results showed that: (1) the skills of the
first cycle teacher scores 21 sufficient criteria, second
cycle scores 27 good criteria, and cycle III scores 32 very
good criteria; (2) student activity cycle I scores 17 with
sufficient criteria, cycle II scores 21 with very good
criteria, and cycle III scores 24 criteria very well; (3) the
classical completeness of cycle I is 57%, cycle II becomes
70%, and cycle III becomes 87%. The conclusion of this
research is the application of the Cooperative Script
model can improve the quality of Social Studies learning
for Grade V students of Islamic Elementary School Al-
Jannah Gabuswetan Indramayu.
