Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the role of peer tutors in increasing the learning motivation of students in One Roofing State Junior High School 2 Haurgeulis Indramayu. The research method uses a mixed method with the technique of collecting data by means of observation, interviews, and document studies. Analysis of the results of the study was conducted with descriptive and qualitative statistics. The results of this study indicate that the role of peer tutors on learning motivation falls into the "sufficient" category with the results of presentations 56% - 75%. High motivation by students will lead to great participation will create an atmosphere of openness between students and other students, so that the learning difficulties faced can be overcome quickly and appropriately.
